For a few years in the mid-1980s, R-KadeCo video game company’s arcade games dominated the industry with nightmarish real-world experiences, games of chance and life or death. Hand-to-hand combat games and home video game systems put the company out of business in 1988, leaving cherished memories and pockets of quarters for its devoted fanbase.
